Enter a world of corporate espionage, hostile takeovers, and dubious mob connections in a modern re-envisioning of Mozart's final opera. Vitellia Asiatica, recently disgrace founder of Vital, Corp., was prepared to take on the mantle of CEO in the merger of Vital and Capital, Inc. However, following the unexpected death of Capital's CEO and founder Tito Vespasiano, Vitellia is passed over in favor of Vespasiano's beloved (if clueless) son, Tito Jr. Enraged, Vitellia plots to reclaim her company, even seducing Tito's best friend Sesto into serving as her assassin... but it’s surprisingly hard to convince someone to murder their best friend. Her plot goes sideways when Tito announces his intent to make Vitellia his new VP as Sesto begins to enact the fatal plot.

This modern adaptation was designed by Rachel Davies for Comet Opera’s first touring production, with flexible staging, minimal sets, and social media interaction.

George Frideric Handel's Messiah is his most recognizable and beloved oratorios - it’s one of the world's most popular Christmas classics. For nearly 300 years, one work has brought audiences to their feet in the ultimate celebration of holiday joy: Handel’s Messiah, with its divine “Hallelujah” chorus. The oratorio is sung in English and was originally an Easter offering, but now it is a fixture at Christmastime in churches and concert halls around the world. The concert will be performed by St. Joseph Church Choir.  The concert will begin with a candlelight procession of Georgian Chants ending with the Messiah.  Celebrate the season with one of music’s greatest Christmas traditions. The concert is free.

If you’re longing for thrilling music combined with searing drama, then nobody does it better than Verdi.
The terrors of the Spanish Inquisition are raging, and so are personal and political passions. France’s princess Elizabeth is forced to marry Phillip, King of Spain, forsaking her beloved Don Carlo—the firebrand who turns out to be her husband’s own son! Add to the mix the terrifying Grand
Inquisitor and the King’s duplicitous mistress, and the stage is set for an explosive amalgam of sex, politics, and religion. With the orchestra, chorus, and international cast on stage, projections of masterworks by Goya, El Greco, and more provide the backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
